Tim Stubbs started Stubbs Equipment Inc., in September 2017.
Before starting his own business, Tim worked for Ecco Corporation for nearly 28 years.
In September 2017 Tim made one of the hardest decisions of his life, and that was to leave ECCO and go out on his own.
Shortly after going out on his own, Tim decided to not only be a mechanic but get into the rental side of the industry. Unfortunately, Tim died suddenly after purchasing his first piece of equipment.
I was left with our two sons, Tim’s beloved puppy Shaq and a newly started equipment rental business. The mechanic part of the business died with Tim, but the rental portion was something I thought I might be able to continue for Tim. With help from a handful of Tim’s close peers and friends in the industry I was able to learn the heavy equipment rental business. The company is growing and I’m so proud that I could bring this portion of Tim’s memory to life. I can hear him as I always did saying “you got this Jo”.
Today I love running Stubbs Equipment as Tim would have done and it’s been with great pleasure that I have met and worked with the excellent people that make up this industry.
I have continued the same pride Tim took with everything he did.
